AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Manufacturers PAC of Texas (MPACT), the political action committee for the Texas Association of Manufacturers (TAM).
“In his role as governor, Rick Perry received our endorsement due to his steadfast commitment to promoting economic prosperity and sustainable job growth policies for all Texans,” said Luke Bellsnyder, Executive Director of TAM. “As the state’s chief executive officer, Gov. Perry has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to keep Texas prospering despite tough global economic challenges.”
TAM represents more than 450 companies, from small enterprises to some of the largest manufacturers in the state with hundreds of thousands of employees. Covering every sector of the manufacturing industry, TAM is committed to advancing public policy that promotes quality jobs for Texans in the manufacturing sector of the economy.
