AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Texas Association for Interior Design (TAID). The board voted unanimously to endorse Gov. Perry.
“We greatly appreciate Gov. Perry’s hard work to build and maintain our state’s strong economy, even throughout the national economic downturn,” said TAID Executive Director Donna Vining. “We look forward to a better Texas under his continued leadership and are eager to support him in his re-election efforts.”
TAID provides legislative services and assistance to the state's 9,000 registered interior designers and represents the business and legislative aspects of the Interior Design industry in Texas.
“Because of our state’s concerted efforts to embrace policies based on limited government and belief in the power of the individual, Texas is the place where people and businesses can come to risk their capital and succeed without unnecessary tax and regulatory burdens,” said Gov. Perry. “I’m honored to have TAID’s support and look forward to working with their members to ensure the ongoing strength and opportunity for small business in Texas.”
